Fastest Muscle Cars, Top Twenty Five

From mid to beginning 1970, a new generation of American cars ruled the streets. Most of these were intermediate sized automobiles with large block engines. Firstly of these cars were called "super cars" and then known as muscle cars. The quarter mile was the standard for performance and drag racing weekend has become very popular.

With their proud owners of school and work, many of these cars pulled duty as commuter vehicles. But the guys behind the wheel of right "amateur" dragsters. For the first time in American automotive history, high performance vehicles were available to the masses. The average Joe, with a decent job could go to your local dealership and car with a ground pounding muscle car tire smoke. Even an average Joe could really working on his pride in a time before emission controls and complicated computer chips.

Even the Camaros and Cudas' transport were decent for the young man with a couple of small children. Only the Cobra and  the Corvettes was created to be  really sports car.
In early 1970, the muscle car was terminated as everyone knows about this generation.  Rising insurance premiums, new security issues and increased fuel costs marked the end of this era. The original cars are one of the hottest automotive collectables nowadays. For the car of their youthful dreams men of a certain age are aggressively bidding.
