Between 1967 and 2002 Pontiac division of General Motors Potiac create a new variant with the name Firebird. Type of car Firebird was introduced the same year with similar cars in its class that is the Chevrolet Camaro. At almost the same car was also released in 1968 Mercury Cougar, which shared the platform with the Ford Mustang Cuda.
